How to Prepare for Your White Card Course in Brisbane: Tips and Advice

Do you want to work in construction in Australia? Then you need to earn a White Card — it proves that you've completed essential Work Health & Safety (WHS) training, which ismandatory for most building jobs.

We offer the White Card Course in Brisbane right here at ModSkills. If you’re interested, here are some tips to help you prepare for your course. We also talk about how a White Card can boost your construction career.

Look for an approved course.

Before signing up for a program, make sure that it's up-to-date with the latest WHS standards. Check if it’s WHSQ-approved, nationally recognised, and fully accredited. Our White Card Course in Brisbane meets all these criteria, so you can be confident that it will provide you with the skills and certification needed to kickstart your construction career.

Learn about the method of instruction.

Before enrolling, learn whether the course will be delivered online or in a traditional face-to-face classroom setting. Online training is often more convenient because it lets you study at your own pace and in your preferred setting.  But make sure that you’re choosing a licensed online school in Brisbane that meets all the requirements.

If you prefer classroom-based White Card training, make sure that it’s provided by an established and recognised academic institution with qualified instructors.  Face-to-face training can be beneficial because it provides opportunities to interact and be familiar with the construction equipment and tools. However, make sure that you can sync your schedule with the class calendar so you don’t miss your lessons.

At ModSkills, we offer a classroom-based White Card course inBrisbane in a modern facility. Our classrooms are COVID-safe, clean, and hygienic to ensure every student’s comfort and health.
